  • ALTE 62nd Meeting and Conference - Pencil in the dates!

    ALTE's 62nd Meeting and Conference will be hosted by CBAC WJEC and it will take place in Cardiff, United Kingdom, from 2nd - 4th April 2025.

    The first 2 days (Wednesday and Thursday) of the event are open only to representatives of ALTE Full Members/Associate Members and Individual Expert Members.

    Friday 4th April 2025 will be an open conference day for all those with an interest in the field of language testing. The theme of the conference day will be: 

    Assessing Speaking and Spoken Interaction.

    Please note, the event on Friday 4th April will not be live streamed (there will be the video recording of the plenary sessions on Friday 4th April).

    Online attendance has been arranged only for the ALTE Members’ update, Thursday 3rd April 2025 (from 4pm to 5.30pm). Attendance online of the ALTE Members’ update is free of charge.

    More information about the programme of the event and the opening of the registration will be available in due course.

    ALTE's 63rd Meeting and Conference will be hosted by The Foreign Language Centre at the University of Pécs and it will take place in Pécs, Hungary, from 5th  - 7th November 2025.

    The first 2 days (Wednesday and Thursday) of the event are open only to representatives of ALTE Full Members/Associate Members and Individual Expert Members.

    Friday 7th November 2025 will be an open conference day for all those with an interest in the field of language testing.
